One day my Mom & Dad (he’s the good looking guy in the pictures) were exploring the Cabot Trail and they took me to a great little spot called Black Brook Beach!
This beach is ranked one of the top 25 beaches in Canada!
Oh Sweet! A playground!
I’m Flying!
While I was playing away on the playground, Dad decided to take a few pictures. What a loser! Here is one picture he took of a pile of sticks.
Okay, so finally Dad takes me on to the beach. What a beautiful sandy beach. The waves were crashing in! Oh, so much fun! LET’S GET WET!!!!
My party-pooper Dad would not let me get in. But we did enjoy a great afternoon at Black Brook Beach. I would highly suggest you talk to your Mom and Dad and get them to visit as well. You’ll find it about mid way between Neil’s Harbour and Ingonish. There’s a nice hike called Jack Pine nearby that will take you right to Jigging Cove Lake. This hike takes more than an hour, so I would recommend a comfortable backpack to nap in while your folks do all the hiking!

Got my feet wet in that cold Atlantic water at Black Brook Beach this summer. A few people went in, but not me.
It’s a pretty beach area.
