Hi Everybody!
This is my first blog…so here goes! I am soooo loving working the Front Desk at the Silver Dart Lodge and they are truly the “greatest gang in the world!”. Before starting in this season, I was invited to join them on their Cabot Trail Adventure — talk about feeling welcomed right from the get go!

We walked Le Buttreau Trail, where there are still some of the original stones in some hollows along the trail from some of the old Acadian homesteads. They had large families and life was so simple, it certainly brings you back to reality and what life is truly all about.

As we continued on to North Mountain we took some photos of a bear on the side of the mountain. He looks so cute and cuddly from a distance, but we’d never get too close…he’s not “Boo Boo” bear from Yellowstone Park. When you visit our glorious Cabot Trail, remember this is our wildlife, so never try to get too close or feed them.

However, we are ever so blessed with our scenery, nature and our wildlife. This is truly what life is all about. You really need to come join us and see what the fuss is all about!
